Merry Christmas to all!
I don't know what I was thinking, but I wrapped a present to Alexis from Santa Claus and put it under the tree a few days before Christmas. Last night, the following conversation ensued:
Alexis (holding up the box): Look, Mommy, it's from Santa Claus!
Me (scrambling for an answer): Oh, yes, he made an early delivery.
Alexis: And he uses our wrapping paper!
Nice going, Santa.

It's amazing the things an intelligent child will swallow when it comes to Santa Claus...even a dumb Santa! :-)
